This early 20th century French Aviation History photo features a German Albatross biplane in a French airfield of Chaudun, Aisne, of the SPA 65 squad during the First World War. A fighter aircraft used by the Imperial German Army Air Service during World War I, the modified licence model of the Albatross was built by Oeffag for the Austro-Hungarian Air Service. Photo taken on November 15, 1917.
