Mountain Chief, or Ninna-stako in the Blackfoot language, was a South Piegan warrior of the Blackfoot Tribe, and Frances Densmore was the leading American authority at the time on the American Indian tribes’ songs and music, and on Indian culture and life-styles. Photo taken on February 9, 1916.
