Artist's Description

This early 20th century Irish Political History print features Michael Collins, a revolutionary, soldier and politician, who is best remembered as the champion of the Irish War of Independence, addressing the crowd in Dublin in 1922. During the war he laid down the blueprint for guerilla warfare, after the declaration of the Free State, he chaired the Provisional Government.
