Description
This early 20th century British Maritime History features the RMS Titanic at Cobh Harbor in Ireland before setting sail westward towards New York. Having picked up the majority of its passengers in Southampton, England, on April 10, 1912, the Titanic stopped next in Cherbourg, northern France, and then Cobh, county Cork, known as Queenstown at the time, as its last port of call before meeting its unfortunate fate four days later. Photo taken on April 11, 1912.
