This late 19th century Native American History photo features a Sauk Indian Family, an Algonquian-speaking North American Indian tribe which is closely related to the Fox and the Kickapoo. The Sauks lived in the Green Bay region, Wisconsin, when they were first encountered by the French in 1667, and currently live in Iowa, Oklahoma and Kansas. Photo taken on January 3, 1899 by Frank Rinehart.
