This US History print dated 1900 features a steamboat named the City of Erie which carried passengers from various cities in Pennsylvania to Buffalo, New York. At the time, this steamboat was one of the fastest to traverse the Great Lakes and was also nicknamed the ‘Honeymoon Special’ owing to being popular with the newlyweds who used to travel to Niagara Falls.
