Description
This late 19th century US History print features the bird’s eye view of St Louis, a city in the State of Missouri occupying the west bank of the Mississippi River that demarcates the US States of Missouri and Illinois. After the American Civil War wherein the city suffered socially and economically, St Louis prospered after the completion of Eads Bridge in 1874, and it was treated as the iconic landmark of the city till 1965 when the Gateway Arch Bridge was inaugurated.
