Description
This mid 20th century German Military History print features Pegnitz River in Germany after it had been bombed by the Allied Forces towards the end of the Second World War. The river was a vital source of fresh-water for the war factories located in Nuremberg, but subsequent to the bombing of the city by the American troops, it was choked with debris and hence could not be relied upon.
