Description
This early 20th century British Maritime History photo features Ned Parfett, the paperboy, outside the office of White Star Line, makers of RMS Titanic, in London, on April 16, 1912, the morning following the day it sank in the Atlantic Ocean. Being the largest, most luxurious ocean liner of its time, the RMS Titanic crashed into an iceberg on its maiden voyage to New York in 1912, and took with it to the bottom of the sea more than 1,500 of its 2,200 passengers. Photo taken on April 16, 1912.
