This mid 20th century Russian Cinematography History print features a constructivist poster created by the Stenberg brothers, wherein the type on the left side proclaims the name of the film - 'The Eleventh'. To the right of the poster there are the credits, namely “Author-Director Dziga Vertov”, whose actual name was Denis Kaufman, and “Chief Cameraman Kaufman”, the Chief Cameraman Mikhail Kaufman who was Dziga Vertov’s brother. Another brilliant cinematographer in the family was their brother Boris, who moved to Poland after the October Revolution with their parents and won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for the first American feature film ‘On the Waterfront’ in 1954.
